Deaths in road accidents not only cause deep grief, wounds, but also cripple the family financially. In some accidents, the only earning person in the family lost his life. It goes without saying that what happened to that family. And the condition of the families of those who are crippled is even worse, more miserable. According to statistics, road accidents cost an average of one and a half percent of Bangladesh’s GDP annually, amounting to Tk 5 billion. In the last 4 years, 3,000 people have died in road accidents. And there have been about 3,000 accidental cases. For these reasons road accidents have now become one of the national problems. Consistently, it is important to take the utmost importance to take the whole step of keeping people free from this problem.
‘There is no country where there is no road accident. But the number of accidents and the number of casualties should be minimized. There are things to do well, trained drivers, improve the road system, modernize the signaling system and make it modern. Along with this, it is very important to get immediate treatment for the victims.
Little is known about the cause of the accident. These include – population pressure is high in proportion to the road infrastructure and land area in the country. The number of motorists has increased compared to the road. Various mixed vehicles including buses, trucks, private cars, rickshaws are running on the same road. In addition, the roads and highways are defective. There are dangerous turns in many places across the country. Due to these curves, accidents are often taking place in those places. Apart from the infrastructure, many experts say the risk of accident and risk is very high. One of the factors that has recently been blamed for the shape of the accident epidemic is the driver’s carelessness and reckless driving. This problem is often identified but there is no cure.
An inquiry committee was formed immediately after the accident. That investigative report never saw the face of light. And the guilty are not punished for the right reasons. People from the upper tier of society – those who are not victims of accidents, have the burden of matching the instances where an incident has been tried. And if something goes on in the judgmentless, unprotected state, it will also have to be repeated. The question is, how many lives, how long will the procession of death be, but the killing will stop?

There are good things to do, well-trained drivers, road improvements, signaling systems, and modernization. Along with this, it is important that the victims get immediate treatment in the accident.
